This filter is used to separate the solid particles from the product, using filter cloths of fabric or synthetic material of different permeability between the plates. The filtrate is settled between the plates and created a layer of cake, the filtration is continues so far completely cameras won’t be filled. After filtration, when the filter is full, plates are moved apart, the remaining product is removed and you can start a new filtration cycle

The productivity of filters depends on the number of plates and their sizes which are selected by your request according to your specifications, and product. The sizes of plates can be 400×400, 500×500, 630х630, 800×800, 1000×1000.
These filters are used in different areas of food and pharmaceutical industries for filtration of products such as: oil, beer, wine, juice production, etc. also filter can be used to separate the dry part from the liquid, for example in the pharmaceutical industry.

Filters for settling of the big sizes can be equipped with special automatic devices, for mechanical movement of single plates during the opening and closing of the filter, and for automatic separation of a cake layer from walls of plates.

In the filters, equipped with such devices, cloths, after their installation between separate plates, are grouped and connected with special spring holders, both their vibration and an inclination during opening plates provoke separation of an cake layer from panels, and under its own weight it falls. They are going into the trays and by means of a belt conveyor are removed.
